In light of offensive language and hate speech associated with the alt-right online news organization, Breitbart is being blacklisted as a default website for ad buys by TubeMogul and RocketFuel.

The ad tech companies join major brands Kellogg’s, Allstate and Warby Parker, which recently disassociated themselves with the site due to the same issues.

In turn, the alt-right news site created a campaign encouraging its readers to boycott Kellogg because “one of the largest conservative media outlets in America is (undergoing) economic censorship” a Breitbart representative said in a statement.

The tug-of-war in the media post election demonstrates a return to the past in terms of ending or reducing racism. However, the real difference at this time in history is the piling on of individuals and corporations unwilling to roll over to hate antics.
