With Facebook’s high profile privacy mishaps in full view in recent month, the prospect of the social media giant having access to personal information relative to user’s dating habits and preferences has caused some consternation, according to Adweek.

Facebook launched its dating services in the United States on Thursday. The company plans to allow users to fold Instagram accounts with their Facebook dating profile, Reuters reported.

Can it be trusted with some of the users’ most personal information?
