Facebook might have met its match with the Federal Trade Commission, as the agency has confirmed it’s looking into the social media giant’s role in allowing the Trump-linked firm Cambridge Analytica to improperly obtain data on 50 million users, Politico reported.

The news prompted Facebook’s stock to plummet.
